About

Esmé Stone is a dancer and choreographer originally from London, England. Growing up, she trained at The Centre for Advanced Training at The Place, and English National Ballet’s Youth Company, ENBYouthCo. At the age of 18, she moved to Boston, USA, to pursue her BFA in Contemporary Dance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. At the Boston Conservatory, she worked under the instruction of John Lam, Kurt Douglas and Brian McGinnis. Since being there, she has performed works by Ken Ossola, Omar Román de Jesús and Christina Chan. She has also choreographed several projects, including ‘HERD’, ‘Fortasse’ and ‘And Stretch One’s Eyes’, all premiered at the Boston Conservatory. Outside of her studies, she has performed works by Akram Khan, Andrea Miller Gallim and Kyle Abraham whilst attending summer intensives such as Orsolina28, GALLIM, and A.I.M by Kyle Abraham, and has performed professionally with the company Lam Dance Works.
